Regrouting

In most cases your existing grout can be restored using the GroutPro System. However, in some instances where the grout is damaged, cracked or missing, the old damaged grout must be removed and replaced with new grout. Preservation-One can then be applied thereby making the grout easier to clean in the future.

Caulking

Grout is a cement product that seals between the tiles. The corners areas around sinks and tubs, however, are prone to movement from settlement, vibration, expansion, etc. Therefore these areas need to be caulked. We use the longest lasting caulk available; however, over time all caulk slowly looses its flexibility. When it is no longer flexible enough to do its job, it will either crack or pull away from the tile. It is time to re-caulk. How long before this needs to be done varies from house to house and even from room to room within the same house.
